Today is my favorite day of the year. Whether it’s because I was raised in the Midwest, where the patriotism is unmatched, or because I’m engaged to a Marine, I’m not sure, but I’ve always loved this holiday. I love spending the perfect summer day soaking up the sun and reflecting on how lucky I am to have been born and raised in such a great place.
